games of the palace

The (Manila) Palace's initial broadcast on the controversial audiotapes put into public knowledge another momentous series of Games of the Generals played simultaneously on various boards or fields. If one board to play is complicated enough, imagine yourself playing integrated boards wherein every board affects others in varying degrees, or yourself playing among many factions in Starcraft, Warcraft, or Command & Conquer... to that effect. Then take that to the level of historic proportions. With such concepts, elite circles are surely at play once more. The public deserves to know who are playing, what are the stakes, what are the schemes... We must know the details...
