After going through my old notebook, I remembered how "history" may repeat itself even after all the lessons have apparently been learned. Perhaps it's because the other parties are the ones who must learn from you the same lessons you've been an integral part of. I hope somebody would remind me how to go beyond that predicament.
The blogosphere, I assume, is populated by intellectuals from all social classes and philosophical leanings. However, being privileged as such does not guarantee the accuracy of information conveyed. After all, society influences us more than we can influence it (at this point in time). We may still become part of the disinformation and disorientation effect, whether we like it or not. However, once we become aware of this, once willing and able to do something about this, the problem can be remedied.
Just like before, expert manipulators are behind the terror scare. Since the roots of society's ills aren't really addressed by the key persons and institutions that ought to, the cycles of injustices remain. Law enforcers, I presume, already receive sufficient budget and incentives for them to be able to apprehend the real "evil-doers". How come they can't? Or won't?
